# Pigletz The first NFT that materializes! ![](/files/TFQSZJt1FW8AEdQ6Ca6m) ## Overview Pigletz is a collectible game with DeFi elements. It is built around the main character - the Piglet, an NFT having a utility as a piggy bank where users can deposit crypto tokens and earn PiFi. Pigletz are items. A contemporary version of a piggy bank. An item that can exist in the Metaverse. And also can exist in the real world. But not in both. Each Piglet starts its life randomly minted and at level 1. Being at level 1 means that only some of its traits are revealed. In order to progress with levels and reveal more traits the owner of the Piglet needs to wait and collect PiFi (similar as eXperience Points). There are options to speed up the collection - for example by completing tasks and activating boosters. Each Piglet has its own wallet - a smart contract that is owned by the Piglet itself. Breaking is the final step in the life of a Piglet. By breaking it the owner is actually killing it, losing its NFT/collectable value, but gaining all the assets within it. One of its unique features is the option to materialize the Piglet. In order to do that the owner stakes the piglet in a specific contract and obtains a real 3D printed Pigletz figure. While being materialized the NFT is locked and cannot be transferred. The only way to unlock it is to break the Pigletz figure (in the real world) and to use the codes inside of it to unlock it. At the end the game is all about the dilemma - which is more valuable - the Piglet as an NFT or the tokens inside of it. ## How it Works {% embed url="" %} ## Key Features Pigletz is a combination between a NFT, Game, DeFi, MetaVerse and RealWorld elements. At the end it became so much more. ## The Piglet The Piglet is as an NFT is a high quality render of a 3D model. Each model has different traits. The traits are combined with different probability in order to produce 12,345 unique 3D Pigletz. ## The Traits All traits are divided into the following categories: * **Gender** - we have Male and Female Pigletz and all the traits below are different for each gender. However we also have Other gender which can mix between Male and Female traits. * **Body** - there are 12 different body types such as Pink, Gold, Stone, .... * **Mouth** - we have 16 mouths such as Smiling, Smoking Cigar, ... * **Eyes** - 16 types such as Blue, Crying, Bitcoin etc. * **Hairstyle** - 25 different hairstyles exists. Female Pigletz have more. * **Beard style** - Only Male Pigletz has beard styles, totally 6 variants. * **Earrings** - totally 10 * **Nose Piercing** - 6 styles * **Glasses** - we have 11 (sun)glasses options * **Tattoo** - 7 options Not all traits are visible from the beginning (birth of the Piglet). **Blue** traits are visible on level 1 **Red** are revealed on level 2 Finally on level 3 the **Green** are shown and this completes the look of the Piglet.

This took about 10 days. After that we post processed all renders to achieve the final result: ![](/files/KxH8WU6W4iYogeV589yD) ## The Blockchain NFT or Non Fungible Token is a token living in the blockchain, described by s Smart Contract following the [ERC721 standard](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-721). Each NFT has usually two parts: * Blockchain part - smart contract, describing the NFT as ERC721 token with a limited supply, allowing minting and transfers of the tokens etc. * Meta Data - text information combined with media data that is the actual representation of the NFT, the one the user sees/hears/... . Pigletz resides at the moment in the [Binance Smart Chain blokchain](https://openzeppelin.com/contracts/). Its contract can be found at the following address: [0xbF84076b06a100d38ce562733098eDc0eDa4D7f7](https://bscscan.com/address/0xbf84076b06a100d38ce562733098edc0eda4d7f7#code) The contract utilizes the [OpenZeppelin ](https://openzeppelin.com/contracts/)framework which is a de facto standard for EVM compatible blockchains. The meta data if the Pigletz is uploaded to the [IPFS](https://ipfs.io/) which gives higher level of decentralization and security to our users. For example the first minted piglet #4041 can be found here: ### Minting The Minting process for the Pigletz is part of their smart contract. Minting selects a random token ID from all available tokens in the entire set of 12,345 and assigns it to the user. Minting rights are delegated to a specified contract called SalesManager which requires BNB to be sent in exchange of piglet(s). Minting allows 1, 5, 10 or 20 Pigletz to be minted within a single transaction. Discount codes can be passed as well allowing the user to reduce the price from 10% up to 50%. There only some traits are visible - gender, body, eyes, mouth, zodiac, background ([see NFT](/pigletz/nft)). In order to reveal more of his traits the piglet needs to level up. There are totally 4 levels. Up to level 3 the requirement to level up is to have some amount of PiFi tokens minted. On level 3 all traits are revealed. Level 4 can be achieved only in the Real World ([See Materialization](/pigletz/materialization)). To level up the piglet needs to collect (mint) enough PiFi tokens. PiFi tokens are generated every 24 hours. The amount of the generated PiFi tokens depends on the level of the piglet and the activated boosters. ## Cap Each Piglet has a cap of the total possible PiFi tokens to be minted which is 2,000,000 PiFi. Getting into an account that the total supply of all Pigletz is 12,345 the max supply of the PiFi token will be: $$ 12,345 \times 2,000,000 = 24,690,000,000 $$ ## Liquidity The SalesManager allows us to mint PiFi that will be used to create the initial Liquidity Pool. The amount of PiFi we can mint is limited to the total minted Pigletz with the following formula: We will create the Liquidity Pool at [PancakeSwap](https://pancakeswap.finance/) investing BNB and PiFi once we mint at least 10% from the total supply of the Pigletz. $$ PiFi\_{max} = Pigletz\_{minted} \times 10,000 $$ After creating the pool we will revoke the minting rights to the PiFi token and Pigletz will be the only generator of new PiFi tokens. ![](/files/TahmhKhxL8MXINvJQSVN) # DeFi Piglets feature DeFi elements. On a first place the Piglet itself mints its own token called PiFi. We offer all Pigletz owners the following additional services: ## Piggy Bank As we mentioned earlier our Pigletz are more than just a picture or NFT. They have utilities. The most important one is that they are actually a digital piggy banks. That means they can hold crypto tokens inside of their smart contract. ![Depositing Tokens](/files/xOVsk6MdKD6y1bfzeXni) #### Hoe does this work? Each piglet has its own wallet. The wallet can receive and send tokens. The control over this wallet is delegated to the smart contract of the piglet. That means no human can have direct access to this wallet. In order to deposit crypto tokens into the piglet its owner has two choices: * **Deposit** - this is a method in the smart contract allowing a crypto token, specified by its address to be deposited into the piglet. The token needs to be listed in [PancakeSwap](https://pancakeswap.finance/). The contract will automatically evaluate its USD value and will add it to the piglet. * **Direct Transfer** - user can send tokens directly to the wallet address of piglet. However this doesn't automatically register the token in the piglet. In order to register it its owner needs to call the register method providing the token address. The valuation of the Piglet is based on the sum of the total evaluation of all deposited tokens. ![](/files/FzzFvBARTh0hBR1zfJ2f) {% hint style="warning" %} There is a limitation of the different tokens types that can be deposited into a single piglet. The limit is 9 tokens, including PiFi. {% endhint %} Once deposited the tokens stay inside the piglet and cannot be withdrawn or used. The only way to withdraw the tokens is to break (burn) the piglet. Doing that you will lose its NFT value but will acquire all the tokens inside it, including PiFi. #### Breaking In order to break the piglet its owner needs to call its burn method. Staking
It allows Pigletz to be staked into the staking contract for a specified period. During that period a special booster with 50% boost will be activated. After unstaking the booster will be deactivated. While staked the Pigletz will be out of the market, locked into the contract so no one can transfer them or break them. However they will continue to produce PiFi tokens. ## Lending
Lending
Lending allows Pigletz owners to use their piglet as a collateral and to lend PiFi tokens. This works in the following way: 1. First we evaluate all tokens inside the piglets using their BUSD value in PancakeSwap. 2. The total value of the loan cannot exceed 80% of the total piglet evaluation. The percentage is not fixed yet. 3. The user chooses amount and a period. 4. The PiFi for the loan comes from Liquidity Providers. 5. The user is obliged to return the PiFi loan with interest within the specified period. 6. In a case the user returns the correct PiFi amount the piglet locked into the Lending Contract is transferred back to the user. 7. Otherwise if the PiFis are not returned within the predefined period the Piglet is broken automatically by the contract and all the tokens within it are swapped in PancakeSwap for PiFi tokens which are later distributed as rewards to the Liquidity Providers. # Materialization Pigletz introduces a novel protocol allowing NFTs to jump from the digital world (Metaverse) to the real world and vice versa. ![](/files/bvy8kSgOIJr8TGZYLjXB) This is possible only on level 3. In order to materialize a Piglet its owner needs to lock it into a Bridge contract and set a password #1. Then he needs to send us his shipping info (address, etc.). Then we will produce a high quality 3D print which is later processed, polished and colored. Then we will ship the Physical piglet to its owner. Inside of the Piglet we put a password #2 that will be used to unlock the NFT from the Bridge contract. The NFT part will remain locked until someone provides password #1 and #2 to the Bridge contract. This protocol allows only a single copy of the NFT to exist either in the digital world as a NFT or as a real physical object. In order to take out the passwords the owner of the physical object needs to destroy it, for example with a hammer. Then the owner can pullout the codes and use them to unlock the NFT.
